In-door Flooding

When a heavy rainstorm came roaring through the Back Mountain area, this home in Dallas, PA suffered water damage in their basement. The deluge of water was too much for the sump pump to handle causing it to shut down. Luckily the homeowner was insured for this type of event and the damage was covered.

Most times outside water in, is an uncovered loss unless you have either flood insurance or sump pump failure rider. Since it was a covered loss, SERVPRO of Hazleton/Dallas/Harvey's Lake was called by the insurance company to help the owners make it "Like it never even happened."
