Have you taken advantage of the SERVPRO Emergency Ready Plan?
Following a Fire at your place of business, this emergency plan helps minimize the amount of time your business is inactive by having an immediate plan of action.
Things you will want to know following a fire that are included in the plan:
- Closest local Fire Department and contact.
SERVPRO of Hazleton, Dallas and Harvey's Lake will also share your emergency plan with your local Fire Department. This is so they are familiar with your building before even entering it.
- Utility Shut Off Locations
During and after a fire it is important to know where all your utility locations are, so they can be turned off or on during the restoration process.
- Location of Hazardous Materials
If there is a fire, knowing the location on flammable items is important. We will include those locations in your emergency plan.
- Emergency Contacts
Following a fire at your place of business, you'll want all of your emergency contacts in one spot. Your insurance holder, electrician, HVAC maintenance, property manager, restoration service provider will all be located in one spot. We have the ability to add any emergency contact within the plan.
The emergency plan will be put in a binder to keep at your property for review, and has also been used as a tool when hiring new employees. The emergency plan can also be accessed via the SERVPRO Ready Plan app. In a digital world, it's important to have your emergency plan at your finger tips too!
